Sydney - Saatchi & Saatchi Australia blitzed the Award ceremonies this past weekend, with winning hauls at the Caxtons and the Australian Graphic Design Association Biennial Awards (AGDA).
First it was triumph at the Caxtons, held this year in Port Douglas. Going into the competition with a hefty nine nominations, the agency topped, walking away with the prestigious Quinlivan Black Award, as well as two others for Sony and one for National Geographic Channel.
Executive Creative Director, Steve Back, commended the work of his team. "They are great results for the Agency. It's nice to see Industry recognition starting to flow in for everyone's hard work," Back said.
The AGDA awards were similarly successful for the Agency, with Saatchi Design laying claim to one Pinnacle Award, three Judges Choice Awards and 10 finalists, nine of which were distinctions.
CEO, Simone Bartley, commented on the strength of the body of work presented for the recent Awards, "We went into both Caxtons and AGDA with a really strong representation of work that's been coming out of the Agency over the past year. The wins were all well deserved, and just a taste of things to come."
