Warsaw - Saatchi & Saatchi Poland has been awarded Agency of the Year at the tenth annual KTR Awards ceremony which took place earlier on this week.
The win - which marks the second year running and the third time in six years - further cements the agency status as the most awarded agency on the local market with 66 KTR awards in total.
Work for the Polish Red Cross won silver in Ambient and four bronzes in PR, Direct, Not-for-profit and Online. The campaign aimed to highlight hunger and malnutrition in children in Poland. Realistic mockups of basic Polish meals were placed among regular products in luxury and online shops building a contrast between the image of the brand and simple hot meals. The price tag invited the public to send a text to feed a child.
Two Toyota campaigns were awarded. The Rock and Jungle 4 x 4 press work won one gold and one silver. Known for its reliability in most challenging off road situations, all over the world, the idea was to portray the 4x4 as four companions ready to sacrifice anything for each other, helping each other in the toughest, most punishing environments. The Avensis sponsored idents for the program ‘TV Theatre' were awarded a bronze in Film. The program is the most respected and iconic on Polish national television.
The SkyDrive campaign for Microsoft won a bronze in Branded Content. To encourage people to open their own SkyDrive accounts, unique content was created that would only be available on the platform. Just before releasing his long awaited record, the most popular Polish rapper Pezet announced his allegiance to SkyDrive. For the next two months, all his new content -including a long-awaiting song called "Cloud" - could be found only on SkyDrive.
