Sao Paulo - The new campaign for the Pan-American
Association of Eye Banks uses limited resources to demonstrate a soulful idea:
Eyes give life. Created by F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi (São Paulo, Brazil),
the communication aims to stimulate cornea donations and reduce the number of
visual impairments through cornea problems across Latin America.
All elements of the campaign can be
seen on the Association’s website, including the film “Eyes” (http://goo.gl/ICbbDx). Produced by Bando Studio Produção Cinematográfica, it shows garbage cans, turnstiles and
chimneys throughout the city with two large eyes, giving birth to animated
characters instead of those previous inanimate silhouettes. The campaign also includes
magazine and newspaper ads, street furniture and an exclusive video for the
Internet.
In universities, restaurants, bars
and cinemas the campaign will be advertised through posters with detachable
eyes, encouraging people to paste the eyes on other spaces and objects,
interacting with the campaign’s concept.
