San Juan - Badillo Saatchi & Saatchi obtained seven awards (1 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze) at FIAP 2013, the festival's top winner from Puerto Rico. The 44th version of the Ibero American Advertising Festival was held from April 29 through May 1 in Miami. FIAP is the most prestigious creative competition in the Hispanic world, where the leading agencies from Latin America, Spain, Portugal and the U.S. Hispanic Market compete.
A Gold Sun was awarded to the "Trident Jam" promotional initiative implemented for Mondelez' Trident chewing gum. The "Children Against Bullets" public service campaign which Badillo developed for Fondos Unidos de Puerto Rico (United Way) aimed at discouraging the dangerous practice of firing weapons to the air on New Year's Eve garnered two Silver Suns and a Bronze Sun. Toyota's "Forward" print campaign received a Bronze Sun and the campaign's components, "Train" and "Hotel" jointly received another Bronze Sun. "Lincoln", a public service radio spot for the Lukemia & Lymphoma Society also received a Bronze Sun.
