MUW Saatchi & Saatchi, Slovakia's Agency of the Year 2009, has received the prestigious award again in 2010.
The award which has been announced annually since 1999 by Stratégie - a professional marketing and media monthly - is the only respected advertising rating on the Slovak market. The list takes into account three major success rate parameters of advertising agencies: economic performance (based on the Top Advertising Agencies Slovakia list - audited gross income), marketing communication efficiency (results of the nationwide competition EFFIE Slovakia), and creativity (selected local and international advertising creativity festivals).
The Number One agency of the last year managed to defend its title during the year of crisis with a triumphant double score lead before its competitor Istropolitana Ogilvy who ranked second.
MUW Saatchi & Saatchi owes the Agency of the Year Award primarily to its success in the area of creative performance.
After Juraj Miskov, the founding father of the agency, "de facto" left for high politics about a year ago, the leadership of the agency, its owners and creative directors (Rasťo Uličný, Rasťo Michalik and chief strategy officer Robert Weber) see this prestigious award as a confirmation of the agency philosophy - Nothing is impossible. And for the entire agency, it is the best motivation into a new, post-crisis period.
Stratégie - the announcer of the Agency of the Year Award - simultaneously published the list of the most successful creatives of the year which is compiled based on their success at various festivals. All three prestigious awards "Creative Director of the Year", "Copywriter of the Year" and "Art Director of the Year" were received by people from MUW Saatchi & Saatchi - Rasťo Michalik, Milan Bielik and Mário Poór, primarily for projects made for T-Mobile.
When receiving the award at the award ceremony, Rasťo Michalik said: "This year was again our year, and today is our day. But tomorrow we'll be starting from scratch again, and that is what I enjoy about it."
