Dubai - Saatchi and Saatchi X has appointed Colman Sheil as its new Creative Director for the Middle East region. Based in Dubai, Sheil will join the agency and take responsibility for its creative output across all mediums within shopper marketing.
Sheil joins Saatchi & Saatchi X with a wealth of experience in integrated marketing having previously worked as Creative Group Head at BBDO Impact Proximity, and before that Creative Head at Leo Burnett ARC.
Following a successful year for Saatchi & Saatchi X, Sheil will also manage the growing creative department and play an integral role in driving new business by further developing the agency's creative credentials and where necessary, its digital capabilities.
Speaking about joining the Saatchi & Saatchi X team, Sheil said: "Shopper marketing in the Middle East is coming to the fore. The store is becoming a battle ground and retail destinations in the region are facing increased competition. As a result, clients are beginning to demand more targeted and strategic approaches to advertising, which shopper marketing can deliver.
