Prague - The 19th Annual Zlatá Pecka (Golden
Stone) Metro Awards took place on Thursday 27 February, under the auspices of the Czech
Association of Advertising Agencies and Marketing Communication (AČRA).
Saatchi & Saatchi Prague had the most nominations
and went home with the most awards. It won the TV category with the “When Words
Aren’t Enough” (Když slova
nestačí) campaign for Kofola and “Ski
Jumpers in the Off Season” (Skokani po sezóně) for T-Mobile. The award for
radio spots went to “Just a ‘Like’ Isn’t Enough” (Jenom like nestačí) for
Transparency International. Saatchi & Saatchi also won in the Metro Public
Award category, decided by popular vote, with its Kofola spot.
This year’s awards had 113 advertising campaigns from
31 Czech and 10 Slovak agencies. The expert panel chose 35 submissions for the
shortlist. The product placement category had a total of 15 entries. The awards
announcement took place in Prague’s Lávka club and the MC was the great
footballer, director, entertainer, actor, moderator, dad and singer Jakub
Kohák.
