London - Saatchi & Saatchi and Aniboom have created a unique competition for 20-something filmmakers.
Why? Because this year, at the Cannes Lions Festival, the 20th Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors’ Showcase (always just about the hottest ticket) will be screened.
Over the years, the Showcase has reflected the increasing importance of digital filmmaking and online film viewing and sharing. And Aniboom, quite simply, is master of this space.
The world's first virtual animation studio, Aniboom bridges the gap between the global community of independent animators and the professional animation industry in all its forms.
Aniboom will promote the best submitted animations on the Aniboom site, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube – helping build the brand and name recognition of the top featured submitters.
The Saatchi & Saatchi and Aniboom Nothing Is Impossible Challenge is live for submissions now. The winner will be part of the NDS screened in Cannes and work with one of Saatchi & Saatchi's top offices on a project in 2010.
In late June, viewers will be able to help select a People’s Choice from a shortlist of entries, drawn up by Saatchi & Saatchi’s Worldwide Creative Board.
