Shanghai - The China Advertising Awards of the Year awards ceremony was held recently at the Shangri-la Hotel Suzhou, China, where luminaries from China's advertising industry gathered for the announcement of the 2012 winners. Saatchi & Saatchi China was honored as 2012 C-R3 Creative Agency of the Year.
The Award is based on the annual rankings and analyses of China's creative and media agencies arising from the C-R3 annual agency evaluation report, jointly announced by China Advertising magazine and the R3 Management Consulting company. The ranking gives an independent and objective evaluation and analysis of eligible agencies in terms of their all-round annual performances in such areas as new business development, any creative awards, initiatives and business performance, as well as face-to-face interviews with senior marketing and media professionals. The C-R3 report is becoming an increasingly important measurement reference of the core value of China's advertising firms.
The achievements of Saatchi & Saatchi China during 2012 stand out in the industry, being a year that the company secured a slew of high profile clients such as CCTV, Nippon, Huawei, MinuteMaid, A.O. Smith, and COFCO.
At the end of 2012, the Caring for the Elderly public service campaign created by Saatchi & Saatchi China was broadcast on CCTV, and its simple yet moving creativity drew wide acclaim.
Fan NG, Executive Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi Shanghai, claimed the award and said in Suzhou, "We are very happy to have won the 2012 C-R3 2012 Creative Agency of the Year. We offer our thanks to our employees for their hard work, and also to China Advertising and R3 for their recognition of our achievements. Looking forward, we will continue in our endeavor to provide our customers with better creativity and services."
