Saatchi & Saatchi Poland, together with Toyota Motor Corporation Japan and Toyota Motor Europe, has created a story encapsulating the belief that every great idea is born from a dream.
In a bid to nurture the creativity of the next generation of great inventors, thinkers and dreamers, Toyota is telling the story of a Polish girl (Aleksandra) who was a World Finalist in the 2012 Toyota Dream Car Art Contest. She participated in it twice: in its 6th and 7th editions.
Saatchi & Saatchi Poland teamed up with Papaya Films and captured Aleksandra’s story in a moving documentary that shows there are life-affirming moments in life: for her, it was winning the Toyota Dream Car Contest two years ago and having a chance to improve the life of her grandmother. The video will go live on all Toyota social media placements globally. View the film here: https://youtu.be/xloo2OWpTH4
Stephane Rydlewski from Toyota Motor Europe commented: “It is not an easy task to tell a documentary-like story of a dreamer. The best documentaries balance presentation of facts with entertainment to capture an audience’s imagination. I think Saatchi & Saatchi together with Papaya Films achieved the goal just right.”
“While making such an emotional, natural picture you have to be prepared. Where to start? We really got to know Aleksandra and her story. We found out what’s going on in her life, what saddens her and what makes her laugh. We met her friends and family and Aleksandra showed us her favourite spots to hang out. We built the story around places Aleksandra is familiar with, to make her comfortable. This way we could make her forget about the camera and catch true, real emotions.” – adds Bartosz Dombrowski, the Director.
