Shanghai - Saatchi
& Saatchi Greater China has won two awards at Campaign Asia’s Agency of the
Year Awards, with Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong named Hong Kong Creative
Agency of the Year, and Chief Talent Officer, Yuki Qi, recognised as the top
talent management person in the country.
Saatchi
& Saatchi Hong Kong’s success is attributed to its transformation into a
strategic gateway and convergence hub. The agency works with Chinese brands
looking to put their mark on the world map, as well as international brands
wanting to gain ground in China. In 2014, Saatchi & Saatchi won the Sands
business and took UnionPay and Huawei to international markets, retained 83 per
cent of incumbent clients, and continued to invest in its digital talent.
Named
'Greater China Talent Management Person of the Year', Yuki Qi leads a team of
11 people and together they oversee the talent management of Saatchi &
Saatchi offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macau. This
year, Yuki redefined talent and implemented a strategy to integrate digital
talent throughout the agency. A '9 Box’ talent assessment system to identify
employees’ strengths and potential for digital transformation has contributed
to the decrease in talent turnover by nearly 20 percent on the previous year.
